Why Karin?

​

Karin has a private practice at the Southport Healing Arts Center in Southport, NC. She provides various services including CranioSacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Visceral Manipulation, Therapeutic Massage, and  Orthopedic Massage. Karin anticipates focusing her attention on injuries and illnesses involving the head and neck, as well as lymphatic drainage for preventative care, maintenance, and post-surgery. She and her husband, Jeff Siebold, an author of mystery fiction novels, enjoy traveling for leisure and seeing clients nationwide.

 

Karin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. She practiced as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for seven years before leaving the profession to raise a family of

three fabulous children.

After several years of working as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with Siebold Group Consulting, LLC, Karin returned to the healthcare field. In 2009, she began the first of many courses in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. In 2011, she graduated from the College of Wilmington. She obtained a North Carolina Massage and Bodywork License, and in 2013, she completed the Certification requirements in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. In April 2016, she completed the requirements for the Diplomate CranioSacral Therapy Certification through the Upledger Institute, which is the highest level of certification available.

In 2013, Karin completed the BioAquatic Explorations: CranioSacral Therapy class and the BioAquatics

Advanced Dolphin Assisted Therapy class, and participates as a primary therapist in the

Dolphin Assisted Therapy programs in Freeport.

​

In July of 2014 Karin was invited to participate as a therapist at the Ricky Williams 

Pilot Concussion Program (preliminary pilot study) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. 

​

She has completed classes in the Visceral Manipulation curriculum through the Barral Institute, and classes in the Lymphatic Drainage Therapy curriculum through the Chikly Institute.

​

Karin's most recent studies include Certification in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and

Advanced Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Post Plastic Surgery.
